Intuitive music workshop with Klaus Holsten - for amateurs and professionals alike.
For all those who want to make music from within and experience improvised music as an art of relationships. The course teaches musical tools that are also helpful for free playing. It opens up a wide stage of musical possibilities with music on personal themes, poetry or art and gives impulses for pedagogical and artistic work. Intuitive music in the group enables, among other things, the experience that opposites can become enriching and thus has a very current meaning.
Who would like to
- play music without notes,
- want to learn more about the building blocks of music and ways to improvise,
- would like to experience improvisation as a relational art,
- are looking for new impulses for lessons or concerts,
- like to improvise to art or poetry or
- simply want to learn to "speak with sounds",

"Remembrance" means keeping something inside - something of your own, something you have heard, seen or felt. On this course, we will dedicate ourselves to tracking down this event and observing how a musical form can emerge from it and gain expressive power. How do I sound, how do my playing partners sound? How does our music relate to each other? Who leads, who follows? Are the quiet voices heard? How do they find space? How do the roles develop and change in the course of the music?
We explore the fact that sound, melody and form never develop in isolation, but always in the polarity between interconnectedness and a freedom that respects others. In this way, opposites become enriching. It becomes clear how I can let my inner truth resound and thus find a meaningful place in the musical fabric, in the big picture.
There is music in each of us that can arise directly in the moment, music that communicates, that dreams, that screams, that vibrates, that sings, that laments or looks into the distance, music that makes contact with the other person, that speaks for itself, that seeks extremes or finds resonance - intuitive music. If we seek it out within ourselves, we can learn to speak with sounds.
