Ping-Pong Festival on November 8 Invites You to Play and Cheer On the Players – Free Admission
On Sunday, November 8, from 3 to 6 p.m., the Peter Weiss Haus in Rostock invites you to a ping-pong festival. To wrap up “Peter Weiss Week” and celebrate the 110th birthday of the building’s namesake, there will be table tennis, waffles, cake, and a craft station. Admission and participation are free; rackets and balls will be provided.
In six challenges, guests can take on the skilled “Peters.” Among the participants: the IFC Rostock and former Bundesliga player Daniel Bodien. Companies or individuals can sponsor donations for the challenges. If a guest wins, the proceeds will be donated to support free and community-oriented cultural work in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
Starting at 5:30 p.m., the event will conclude with a particularly exciting format: the One-Point Challenge, featuring up to 64 participants. A single rally will decide who advances. A prize awaits the winner. At least 16 players are needed. Registration for the challenges: https://pingpong.peterweisshaus.de/ To play, watch, or enjoy some cake, just drop by—no registration required!
