Pupils in project and elective courses at five schools in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern designed the exhibition under professional guidance in 2002. Young people from Rostock, Schwerin, Wismar and Barth began asking themselves on their doorsteps: What happened in my town during the Second World War?
Various ideas were developed to present the topic of "Forced Labor in the Baltic Sea Region" in an appealing way.
