A greedy dwarf has robbed the state treasury and turned the prince, who was hot on his heels, into a bear. Fearing the night and the cold, the bear seeks shelter with Snow White and Rose Red. After the death of their mother, the two very different sisters live alone in a hut on the edge of the forest. Both are committed to their mother's promise to stay together as children. Snow White is the quieter and more cautious of the two, while Rose Red is courageous and energetic. Of course, this sometimes leads to arguments. But now they can agree to take the bear in overnight. Little do they know that he is an enchanted prince.
In the end, they succeed in taking away the evil dwarf's magic powers and redeeming the friendly bear.
