Annika Hutschreuther will play a solo guitar concert with South American, baroque and jazz music in the Sagard church on May 9.
Annika Hutschreuther has been performing as a guitarist for several years, mainly in Germany, but also in Europe. She is a guest at guitar festivals, summer and castle concerts, island concerts and concert series in churches and monasteries. On Saturday, May 9, at 5 p.m., she will be coming to Rügen for the first time to perform a solo concert in the Sagard church.
The program includes fiery South American and Spanish guitar music by Astor Piazzolla and Joaquín Rodrigo as well as delicate baroque compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach. There are also well-known folk songs in her own arrangements with elements of jazz, fingerstyle and classical music. Annika Hutschreuther is not only at home in classical music, but also in jazz music.
Admission costs €10. As it is still a bit chilly in the church, you should of course also think about warm clothing.
