Read, Listen, and Enjoy—the reading gardens invite you to come!
For the 16th time, the Library Association of the
City Library invites you to its popular reading gardens.
On Sunday, August 30, exciting stories,
interesting encounters, and special
reading experiences await you once again in the
Old Town Gardens.
The readings begin at 3:00, 4:00, and 5:00 p.m.
and last 45 minutes. In between, there’s time to switch
gardens and discover more offerings:
Low German stories, humorous tales, Wismar’s
city history, Swedish stories, life stories
, or all sorts of crime stories—the variety of topics
promises great entertainment for every taste.
Weatherproof
alternatives are available for all reading gardens, though it’s best to bring your own
umbrella. Some gardens also offer small
snacks and drinks. The colorful piggy bank welcomes voluntary donations
.
Enjoy a summer afternoon filled with
literature and garden ambiance!
Admission is free!
