The Randi Tytingvåg Trio celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2023 and "Hjem" is their second album in Norwegian. Together, the three musicians have developed a completely acoustic sound that moves between the singer-songwriter genre, folk and jazz. A unique flow that celebrates the sound of voices and stringed instruments. They perform with just one microphone into which all three sing together - a distinctive, small chamber orchestra with a wide dynamic range.
Randi is known for her warm, distinctive voice, strong and fragile at the same time. She has a strong presence and an honest way of communicating with her audience. Randi writes the music and the lyrics are written in close collaboration with poet Helge Torvund.
In spring and fall 2026, the trio will tour Europe again with a new album!
