"Das NEINhorn," a puppet show at the Theaterzelt am Postacker: The Giessen Puppet Theater performs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 5 p.m., through August 26.
The cheeky NEINhorn says “no” to everything—and ends up right in the middle of an adventure as a result. The Giessen Puppet Theater brings the story to life on stage with hand-operated puppets, staying true to the original and with great attention to detail.
The show takes place in the theater’s own tent at Postacker, marking its sixth performance in Rerik. The performance lasts 45 minutes and takes place in the tent, so it’s not affected by the weather.
Performances begin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The box office opens 30 minutes beforehand right at the tent; seating is first-come, first-served. Groups of 10 or more can reserve specific seats.
The family-run company has been performing since 1970 and tours the Baltic Sea coast with its tent every summer.
