During summer vacation, the public family scavenger hunt through Schwerin takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:30 p.m. Accompanied by a tour guide, participants go on a “lion hunt” through the historic Old Town. Together with a tour guide, families can explore Schwerin’s Old Town in a fun and interactive way. Along the way, they’ll encounter little scavenger hunt challenges, exciting stories, and surprising discoveries centered around the state capital Schwerin’s most famous landmarks.
The tour guide tailors the scavenger hunt to the children’s ages, making the tour just as exciting for the little detectives as it is for their companions. Along the way, you’ll discover the historic market square, Schwerin Cathedral, Pfaffenteich, and—depending on the route—other special spots in the Old Town.
