The prize-winning photographs from the Northwest Mecklenburg district photography competition can be seen as a special exhibition in the museum.
The winning photos of the award-winning competition 2025 of the district of Nordwestmecklenburg are dedicated to motifs that show the beauty and life in the district of Nordwestmecklenburg. Participants were able to submit their entries in two subject areas: local views, landscapes and excursion destinations on the one hand, and people in work and leisure, in clubs or in voluntary work on the other.
The best pictures were awarded on 3 October 2025 in Grevesmühlen.
The prizes were donated by the district administrator, the mayors of the Hanseatic City of Wismar, the towns of Gadebusch, Schönberg and Klütz and the municipality of Baltic resort Boltenhagen, among others.
