Three hours of organ music to benefit Brot für die Welt. This is an open event; everyone is welcome to stay as long as they like.
Organists from Rügen will play on the Sagard Baroque organ until midnight on New Year’s Eve. Come and go as you please. Warm clothing or blankets are highly recommended, as the church is unheated. Anyone who wishes may make a donation to “Brot für die Welt” as a token of appreciation.
Shortly before midnight, Bach’s famous Toccata and Fugue in D minor and the European anthem “Freude schöner Götterfunken” will be performed.
