Mirko Grunewald, a trained wood sculptor from Grevesmühlen, works in oil, ink, and charcoal, as well as in etching. Under the title “Mecklenburg,” he presents works inspired by the landscape of Mecklenburg. The artist will be present in person for the opening.
The sales exhibition runs through October 11, 2026, and can be viewed during the gallery’s regular opening hours.

Mirko Grunewald, born on October 9, 1968, in Grevesmühlen
1975–1985 School and vocational training
1985–1987: Apprenticeship as a wood sculptor; first artistic works in oil, ink, and charcoal, later also etchings
From 2000: Guest studies at the Rostock Art School under Jürgen Weber, Rainer Kessel, Thomas Jastram, and Felix Büttner
