Jazz & Chanson, Guided Tours & Tours

What do LIVE JAZZ, the search for Grandma’s prettiest coffee set, and the chance to win a free weekend have in common? An afternoon at Brookhusen Manor! Jacqueline Boulanger will sing and choose her personal favorite piece of porcelain. Enjoy coffee, cake, and guided tours through 750 years of history.

For one afternoon, the doors of Brookhusen Manor will open to the public. Over 750 years of history meet historic interior design, live jazz, and a new concept that brings Grandma’s china back to the table. A day for exploring, relaxing—and maybe even coming back...

ON THE PROGRAM:

• LIVE: Jacqueline Boulanger, the “Jazz Voice of the North,” 2:00–4:00 p.m.

• Searching for Grandma’s Most Beautiful Coffee Set! One-of-a-kind pieces or sets from Grandma’s era can be donated to the manor house for the growing Brookhusen coffee table display; feel free to include a little story about them. At 4 p.m., our special guest Jacqueline Boulanger will select the most beautiful porcelain treasure. Prize: a free weekend stay at the manor house.

• Coffee & cake in a historic setting

• Guided tours by the owner featuring anecdotes from history and 15 years of private preservation efforts, along with insights into life and living around 1900
