17 years after the huge success of the first film, Sophie Marceau once again takes on the role of Anne, the mother. This time, her youngest daughter moves back home.

Lola, who was 16 17 years ago, has long since found her footing in life and doesn’t appear at all in “LOL 2.0.” This is quite different from her mother Anne, who is in the process of adjusting to a new daily routine. But while her ex-husband is about to get remarried and she herself is exploring new options both professionally and romantically, her family isn’t ready to let go of the woman in her mid-fifties just yet. Her youngest daughter, Louise, 23, suddenly moves back home after a breakup and losing her job. And her son Theo tells her that she’s unexpectedly going to be a grandmother…
