We present a biopic about Bob Dylan’s early years, his rise to stardom on his own terms, and his rebellion against being co-opted by the music industry and dogmatic fans.

The year is 1961; art student Robert Zimmermann had already become the folk singer Bob Dylan when he approached the sickbed of the man he had long looked up to musically: Woody. Coincidentally, Pete Seeger is also visiting at the time. After a brief conversation, Bob performs his “Song to Woody,” one of his earliest songs.
That evening, we’ll be welcoming our guests starting at 8:30 p.m. with the (free) Cinema Royale summer drink. Delicious grilled bratwursts will be on the menu.
