Three women - three choreographies A ballet evening between fantasy and reality Premiere30. October 2025
Fairy tales tell of castles, enchanted forests and magical creatures. Heroes fight dragons, break curses and live happily ever after. But what happens when we step beyond the pages of these stories and into the real world?
Once Upon a Time invites us to explore fairy tales in new ways - starting with fantasy and love and moving on to real-life stories of courage, resilience and hope. Through dance and storytelling, we travel from mythical lands to the lives of those facing their own challenges: Immigrants in search of a new beginning, survivors and their overcoming of obstacles, and dreamers fighting for their future. Their kingdoms are not made of gold, but of a home they are rebuilding. Their battles are not against monsters, but against barriers and injustices. Their magic lies not in magic wands and spells, but in love, perseverance and strength.
During the evening, this transformation is brought to life through movement and music, taking us from the world of fantasy to reality - where true fairy tales happen every day.
