The earth may become uninhabitable for its inhabitants. We are perpetrators, eyewitnesses and victims. All photographs in this exhibition are by Franz Riegel and were taken on location, in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Water is an endangered resource. Increasing global warming is causing life-threatening water shortages and elsewhere devastating floods. The existence of all ecosystems on this planet and thus the survival of mankind is at risk.
You won't know what water is worth until you run out. Or too much of it. To die of thirst or to drown - that seems far away to us, but it is decided today.
