Joint exhibition
The exhibition "...when the horizon opens..." invites you to leave familiar perspectives behind and discover new ones. The horizon appears here not only as a landscape motif, but also as a symbol of transitions, possibilities and inner and outer boundaries. The participating artists take up this idea in very different ways and make it tangible in paintings, sculptures and mixed-media works.
The works show a wide stylistic range: from abstract color compositions to figurative representations, from clear forms to experimental material combinations. The mixed-media works in particular open up exciting approaches by combining different techniques and materials and thus creating new pictorial spaces. Layers, structures and unusual surfaces invite you to take a closer look and explore the works not only visually but also intellectually.
In terms of content, the works move between personal experiences and social themes. Questions of identity, change and perception play just as much a role as the relationship between people and their environment. The "open horizon" thus becomes a symbol of development, new beginnings and the willingness to embrace the unknown.
The exhibition sees itself less as a clear narrative and more as an open space for individual interpretations. Visitors are invited to develop their own associations and engage with different artistic positions. This creates a multi-layered dialog between the works - and between art and viewing.
