A Rural Mystery
Because a shepherdess in Jagenow has disappeared without a trace—or so it seems—Police Chief Inspector’s Secretary Anne Amsel is sent to the countryside. Before she knows it, she’s knee-deep in the investigation: Was it murder? And if so, who killed the shepherdess? It quickly becomes clear that everyone here has something to hide. Or was it perhaps the wolf that’s been prowling around the flock lately?
