Exhibition with an accompanying program organized by the Academy of Sciences in Hamburg at the Alfried Krupp Wissenschaftskolleg in Greifswald
Who are we? Where do we come from? Humanity’s cultural heritage provides answers to these questions. In the Academies Program, researchers devote 12 to 25 years to studying key texts, languages, and sources, and make them accessible in digital form. The Hamburg Academy of Sciences is currently conducting eight long-term research projects in cooperation with the University of Hamburg and the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts. Their topics range from ancient manuscripts to contemporary issues. What they have in common: All long-term research projects lay the groundwork for further research and insights, both now and in the future. In doing so, these projects preserve knowledge that would otherwise be lost. Discover the world of long-term research at
and find out why this work is necessary, useful, and innovative!
