Oyster mushrooms, shiitake and more - harvesting your own mushrooms is not rocket science. With a little patience, the right wood and a few simple steps, you can turn a tree trunk in your garden into a small, living mushroom farm.

"How about harvesting your own mushrooms directly from the garden? Fresh, sustainable and with surprisingly little effort. What sounds unusual at first is easier than many people think.

In this course, you will discover how to create a small mushroom farm from a simple piece of wood. Step by step, you will learn how to grow oyster mushrooms, shiitake and other edible mushrooms yourself - without any previous knowledge.

You will work hands-on, receive valuable first-hand tips and even take your own prepared log home with you at the end.

You'll be surprised how fascinating the world of mushrooms is - and how quickly curiosity turns into genuine enthusiasm.

On 13.06.2026 from 9:00 to 17:30 at the Steinmühle youth forest home in 17237 Carpin. Cost contribution: € 89.00. Previous knowledge is not required."
