This combined cycling and hiking tour takes you to the Osterwald, a special rain moor. Following successful renaturation, rare bog species such as marsh pondweed and cotton grass are returning here.
On this approx. 8 km long cycle tour (partly on foot), the restoration of the natural water balance (revitalization) in the Osterwald will be presented. Special attention will be paid to the conservation value of moors. In addition, typical moor plants will be presented in their natural habitat.
