The trio performs a mix of Berlin chansons from the 1920s and African-American blues.
Accompanied by piano, ukulele, banjo, and a singing saw—and featuring plenty of harmonies—they offer a diverse program ranging from earthy and soulful to rousing, cheeky, and full of honest emotion. When selecting songs, they focus on lyrics from a woman’s perspective, pieces by female composers, and music that gets under your skin and moves you.
