The manor house from 1816 on the edge of the lake district was part of a larger estate. The manor house is a jewel box of classicism with Biedermeier influences. It was never used for anything other than living, and although vacancy has damaged the structure, much of the original substance has been preserved. The Lükes now want to carefully uncover this and renovate it in line with its listed status in order to make it fit for a new era.
