The manor house on Lake Penzlin is surrounded by a large park with mature trees, directly above Lake Penzlin. The former estate complex is still recognizable. The current manor house was built in the middle of the 18th century on a previous building by the von Lützow family. It changed hands over the centuries until 1945, when it was used as the center of the village with apartments, LPG kitchen, kindergarten, infirmary, consumer store and cultural hall. A refurbishment in line with the preservation order, which involved restoring the original floor plan while retaining and adding all original parts from the construction period, such as doors, floorboards, tiles and window coverings, was completed in 2018.
