Singer Anke Gohsmann and Gillhoff Prize winner Wolfgang Kniep present their own songs as well as settings of texts by the Low German author Ursula Kurz and rhyming verses by the Mecklenburg poet Rudolf Tarnow.
In this skillful mix, they take the audience on a contemplative journey between reflection and hearty laughter.
Wolfgang Kniep is considered an "old hand" of Low German, having worked on several books and booklets by the Wittenburg poet Ursula Kurz since the 1980s, setting her poems to music and publishing the book "Du un ick" with her. He has written several books and made a name for himself on the radio with "Knieps Tierleben", among others.
