Musical time travel / Episode 1 With Frank Buchwald

Every era has its songs and some songs never fall out of time. With Merci, Chérie, a symbolic figure of German-language entertainment music, Udo Jürgens, won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1966 and became a globally successful solo artist who released over 50 albums and accompanied his audience with more than 1000 songs for half a century until 2014. In keeping with this, the well-known Rostock actor Frank Buchwald recalls times gone by at the Kleine Komödie Warnemünde, musically traveling from the Land of Smiles to New York and presenting great hits as well as lesser-known lyrics and songs.

Duration of performance: approx. 1 hour and 20 minutes, no interval
