The story of Melanie Mau & Martin Schnella began with the song "Miracles Out Of Nowhere" by the band Kansas. The two thoroughbred musicians discovered their passion for making music together through their own arrangement of this song. Since then, the duo from Osterode in Lower Saxony has been playing music in an acoustic guise. Their concert tours have already taken them all over Europe and the USA, where they performed at the renowned Progstock Festival.
Melanie Mau & Martin Schnella's repertoire includes cover songs, which they rearrange in their own style, as well as numerous originals. The most important thing, however, is that the music always comes from the bottom of their hearts and is literally a "matter of the heart"!
The two perform in different line-ups - as a duo, trio or quartet. Today together with Mathias Ruck (vocals, percussion) and Andreas Böhm (bass, vocals).
