"We from the North" is the title of an exhibition being shown in Mönkebude in the Haus des Gastes. The exhibitors are hobby painters from Anklam. Their group is called "Anklamer Malwiever".
A journey to the north - exhibition by the Anklammern Malvivern
With their new exhibition, the Anklammern Malvivern take visitors on a visually stunning journey to the north. The works on display tell of vastness, tranquillity and the special atmosphere of Nordic landscapes - motifs that can be found in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in a unique variety.
Between coastlines, calm waters, wide fields and light-flooded horizons, the pictures unfold their effect. They not only capture landscapes, but also moods: the play of wind and clouds, the quiet passing of time and the deep connection with nature. The works invite you to pause and let your gaze wander - as if on a journey without haste.
The exhibition makes visible what characterizes Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: a landscape of quiet beauty, rough and gentle at the same time, which leaves room for memories, longing and discoveries. The exhibition opening will take place on March 7, 2026 at 3.30 pm in the Haus des Gastes Mönkebude and marks the start of a journey that will take visitors on a visual and emotional journey. Art enthusiasts, nature lovers and lovers of Nordic landscapes are cordially invited.
