Jan Tessin is a musician with heart and soul. As a Mecklenburg cowboy, he is known far beyond the borders of Mecklenburg. The man from Malchin delights his audience with his guitar, banjo, harmonica and vocals.
Jan Tessin started learning the guitar himself at the age of 14 - today he writes country songs in High and Low German and performs on stage up to 140 times a year. He also lives with music in his work at the Offener Kanal community radio station, helping others to plan and record their radio programs. Even without horses and cows, Jan Tessin is "The Cowboy from the Peene".
