The Kratochvíl Trio from the Czech Republic will be giving a concert of baroque and romantic pieces and singing in Sagard on June 26.

On Friday, June 26, 2026 at 8 pm, a concert entitled "Romances and Virtuosity" will take place in St. Michael's Church in Sagard. The Kratochvíl Trio from the Czech Republic will be performing with Aneta Kratochvílová (soprano), Antonín Kratochvíl (violin) and Josef Kratochvíl (piano). All three are successful professional musicians.
The program ranges from the Baroque to the Romantic period and combines lyrical vocal pieces with virtuoso instrumental works. The program includes Ave Maria by Mikuláš Schneider-Trnavský, the aria "Oh! Had I Jubal's Lyre" from Handel's oratorio Joshua, Puccini's famous "O mio babbino caro" and "Song to the Moon" from Dvořák's opera Rusalka. Instrumental contributions such as Paganini's Capriccio No. 13, Schubert's Impromptu in A flat major and Mozart's Violin Concerto in A major complete the varied program. Admission costs €15.
