On October 3, the Bridge Festival—which has now become a tradition—will take place at the Malchow City Harbor.
On October 3, Malchow invites you to the 9th Malchow Bridge Festival. The focus, of course, is on the landmark of our island town: the historic swing bridge. From 4:00 p.m. to midnight, visitors to the city harbor can look forward to a day full of variety, featuring music, entertainment, and a colorful program for the whole family.
Our youngest guests, in particular, can look forward to Clown Klecks, who is sure to put a smile on every child’s face once again. Those who want to get creative can design their own lantern on-site. These lanterns will then be used in the traditional lantern parade around the island, which starts at 7:15 p.m.
Another highlight awaits visitors around 8:00 p.m.: The grand fireworks display will light up the sky over Malchow and leave young and old alike in awe.
To set the right musical mood in the festival tent—and as the highlight of the evening—the band “Alpha Tonez” will be there to really get the party going. DJ Matthias will be providing entertainment throughout the day with his varied music program.
