Bernhard-Viktor (Vicco) von Bülow—better known as Loriot—is the grand master of German humor and still the greatest comedian of all time! Loriot’s works remain relevant even today.
The Ribbeck Castle Festival has been a regular guest in Dömitz since 2023. In May 2026, it will feature a comedy at the Kulturhaus, and now it’s back again at the end of November—this time with Loriot!
Bernhard-Viktor (Vicco) von Bülow—better known as Loriot—is the grand seigneur of German humor and still the greatest comedian of all time! No one before or after him has been able to trip up the narrow-minded middle class with such perfectly polite audacity that they stumble with dignity. Loriot’s works—especially sketches like “Die Jodelschule” or “Weihnachten bei Hoppenstedts”—remain relevant today thanks to their precise observation of societal absurdities, linguistic nuance, and satirical portrayal of the German middle class.
The classics familiar from TV, such as “Die Ansagerin” or “Das Ei ist hart,” are of course also included among the 18 sketches performed by the actors on stage. The LUK association will once again be on hand to provide refreshments for the audience. We look forward to an entertaining evening of theater lasting approximately 2.5 hours in Dömitz on the Elbe.
