The KIECK Theater Weimar as a guest
Longing - poetry & guitar
A liaison of cheeky, romantic lyrics and emotional songs.
Sehnsucht is the name of the KIECK Theater's new program, and here Cornelia Thiele and Thomas Kieck once again celebrate their unmistakable way of interweaving the finest literary works with emotional pieces of music to create a miniature work of art at the highest level.
Longing provides an ideal thematic breeding ground as a generic term and artistic bracket - after all, emotions, dreams and hopes flow together intensively in this evening. Melancholic sounds alternate with passages of passionate lyrics and cabaret scenes.
The stylistic diversity of texts and music guarantees an entertaining and varied evening.
Cornelia Thiele and Thomas Kieck have been presenting literary-musical programs combining acting, pantomime and music under the name KIECK-Theater since 1991. The KIECK Theater has developed its unmistakable style from artistic dedication and years of experience.
In recent years, they have made guest appearances at the Ehm Welk House with a "Cristian Morgenstern" program, presented "Men, Women and Other Disasters" and delighted children with the play "Clown Conny and the Message in a Bottle".
Once you've been to the KIECK Theater, you'll want to come back! With this in mind, the literary association invites you to the Ehm Welk House. You are very welcome to join us for an entertaining evening.
