Pull up a beanbag and cut a rug. Logan’s Close is coming to town. With their debut album *Heart-Shaped Jacuzzi*, the Edinburgh-based band—led by Scott Rough and Carl Marah—presents a shimmering collection of instant classics at the grooviest underground venues on the scene.

Originally from Dunbar—arguably Scotland’s lesser-known rock ’n’ roll capital—Rough and Marah founded Logan’s Close to combine their love of Merseybeat, British Baroque Invasion bubblegum, and laid-back Los Angeles soft psych with a more contemporary approach to songwriting. After bringing in Stuart Neil on bass, Sean Morrison on keyboards, and Gavin Lamont on drums, the fruits of this dynamic duo’s labor can be heard in a series of singles released over the past eight years.

If the ’90s were just the ’60s turned upside down, then Logan’s Close are the sons and heirs of both in the 21st century.

“Scotland’s sexiest band” – Vic Galloway, BBC Radio Scotland

“This is an outstanding act that deserves great things in the future” – Edinburgh Evening News

“They have seemingly endless energy on stage; this is paired with clever harmonies and really groovy tunes. You’d be damned not to like what they do. Absolutely infectious.” – The Write Angle
