Fräulein Frey, aka Steffi Böhnke, is a northern girl with depth. Her songs tell stories—both poetic and entertaining—of setting out and returning home, of grand emotions and small everyday moments, of doubt and courage. With a voice that is as soft as it is powerful, sensitive lyrics, and authentic energy, she moves between the pulsating city and the vast countryside, the romance of the Elbe River and the crisp sea breeze.
Raised in a small village on the Mecklenburg Baltic Coast, the native of Mecklenburg found her way to music through a series of detours, discovered an urban second home in Hamburg, and eventually returned to her roots near Wismar. On her own music label, she released the albums “Hallo Leben” (2017) and “Ein Wagnis” (2022). Most recently, she released the singles “Hier draußen” and “Das Schönste bist du” (2024).
She’s the perfect companion for philosophizing and celebrating; she dreams and dances her way through the here and now, and in doing so is incredibly infectious.
We’re looking forward to a wonderful evening of music that’s guaranteed to send us home singing and whistling happily. But first, we’ll dance, clap, and enjoy the evening to the fullest. It’s easy to do that with songs that feel like “coming home.”
A warm welcome! ❤️
