BROOCK CASTLE | CULTURAL-HISTORICAL TOUR of the castle construction site during the "Schlösserherbst" festival with Project Manager Christian Schmidt
Enjoy an autumn outing to the beautiful Tollense Valley and visit Broock Castle with its nearly completely preserved estate and Lenné Park. What stories have unfolded behind Broock’s historic walls, and which architects and landscape architects transformed the former knight’s estate into a monument of national significance? Project manager Christian Schmidt will take you on a journey through the rich and eventful history of what was once the largest private stud farm in Western Pomerania, with its dazzling past.
Since we can only accommodate a limited number of people on the construction site at a time, registration is absolutely required: by email at info@schlossgut-broock.de or by phone at 039993 766678.
Participation fee for the guided tour and visit to the exhibitions:
Adults: 6.00 euros
Reduced fee: 4.00 euros
Children and teenagers: 0.00 euros
The meeting point for the guided tours is the Garden Hall of the castle. Access is via the terrace on the park side. Parking is available in the service courtyard. Please note that access to the castle and its interior is not accessible.
Afterward, you can visit the exhibitions “Broock Castle—Lords and People,” “Garden Culture in Broock,” and “Broock Artifacts” at the castle museum. A walking tour through our revitalized Lenné Park, featuring historical stops with informative display panels, is also well worth your time.
Round out your trip to Broock with a visit to our village store and café, located on the edge of the estate grounds in the former kitchen garden—where homemade cakes, specialty coffees, and hearty meals await you.
