...still a few places available! If you want to make your own firewood, you need a chainsaw license.
Those who successfully complete this course are allowed to fell so-called weak wood themselves and process wood in all thicknesses. Registration is now open at Leea Neustrelitz on 03981 4490-101 or by email at buero@leea-mv.de.
These so-called "small chainsaw training courses" for self-cutting firewood enable participants to cut wood of any thickness and to fell weak wood with a maximum diameter of 20 centimetres at chest height (1.30 m above the ground). On Friday from 2 p.m. in the Leea, the focus will be on theoretical and safety issues. Chainsaws and accessories will also be presented. On Saturday, from 9 a.m., practical felling and processing will be practiced in the forest near Neubrandenburg.
Further information on the course can be found at www.leea-mv.de/leea-akademie
