What makes this event special: Sellers bring their clothes, shoes, toys, and books in advance and do not need to be present on-site. Volunteers handle the organization and operation of the flea market; afterward, unsold items and 70% of the proceeds are picked up by the seller. 30% of the proceeds benefit various social children’s projects in and around Wismar. To participate as a seller at the flea market, you need a seller number. Numbers will be assigned by phone on August 26, 2026, starting at 7:00 p.m. by calling 0157/55285557 or 0157/55285558 to speak with volunteers from the flea market team.
The Laurentius Children’s Flea Market regularly seeks volunteers for its spring and fall markets. Volunteers typically meet on four days surrounding the flea market weekend to perform the following tasks: Setup and preparation, sorting donated clothing, toys, and books, assisting with sales, and takedown. To become a volunteer and join the team, please contact the coordinators by email at flohmarkt.wismar@arcor.de
