Three bands in one evening
Kudders are the light sailors Karl Bautermann, Käpt'n Bass and Knurrig. The boys from Rostock's fishing port are fully committed to maritime music. Their hearts are set on rock'n'roll, punk and folk. They combine shanty classics and their own compositions with a fat guitar sound, driving bass lines and energetic drumming. The result is an explosive, absolutely danceable mixture of honest music, coastal lyrics and sailor's yarns, also known as shanty'n'roll.
The four members of PeachNuts have been meeting in the rehearsal room for a few years now to have a beer after work, but above all to rock out together. In their songs, the Greifswald-based pop-rock combo usually tell stories about life with a wink and captivate with catchy melodies and a crisp rock sound. Music for the heart, head and legs.
DIAS is the result of a friendship in the noughties in Stralsund that was shaped by Plattenbau, MTV and skate parks. Even before they formed, Mätti, Philipp, Patrick and Paul were already throwing their interpretation of alternative rock at the world - together since 2014 and with German-language lyrics. The four boys' music builds a bridge between heavy guitar riffs and melodic pop rock. It ranges from anthems to noise, sometimes familiar, sometimes new - always striving to explore their own boundaries anew. Their melancholy lyrics offer a projection surface - an invitation to sing along, scream it all out or simply lose yourself in it.
