The six-piece band “KEIMZEIT” is making a stop in the Baltic resort town of Binz to promote their new album, “ACH, DIE MENSCHEN.” Get ready for some great music with Keimzeit!

To this day,Keimzeit maintains a quiet, unique position in the German music industry. Unfazed by passing trends and supported by a fan base that values reliability over quick results, the band comes across as a deliberately cultivated anachronism with its own cultural significance. Their presence draws less from volume than from a remarkable continuity that, in the current pop landscape, can almost be considered a counter-narrative.

With their 14th album, *Ach, die Menschen*, Keimzeit continues on this highly individual path. The tracks impress with their unhurried musical mastery and those characteristic, *
*—and at times artfully interwoven—lyrics that have been Norbert Leisegang’s hallmark for decades. It’s always worth listening closely: the subtle observations, the casual punchlines, and the small twists of thought often don’t reveal their full impact until the second listen. Against this backdrop, the album “Ach, die Menschen” is a Keimzeit album at its best.

ABOUT THE BAND
One of Keimzeit’s hallmarks: Norbert Leisegang’s unmistakable vocals. Norbert and his brother Hartmut Leisegang (bass) have been performing as KEIMZEIT since the band’s inception. Andreas “Spatz” Sperling (piano, organ, vocals) has been part of the band since 1993. In addition, Lars Kutschke from Dresden (guitar), Sebastian Nachtwei (trumpet, flugelhorn, and vocals), and Lin Dittmann from Erfurt on drums have been enriching the band for many years.

KEIMZEIT’s songs reflect our lives—sometimes ironically, sometimes playfully, and usually with a wink. From rock to ballads—the six musicians offer such a broad spectrum that it’s hard to pigeonhole this band. Whether it’s “Kling Klang” taking us to Tierra del Fuego, a ship bound for “Singapur,” or the “Hausmeister” heading to the “Berlinale”—KEIMZEIT’s songs tell charming stories.
