Karsten Karaoke Club - the sing-along party with a LIVE band
On Saturday, July 25, 2026, the garden of the Kulturforum Schleswig-Holstein-Haus will open its doors for the first time to Karsten’s Karaoke Club—and it’s kicking things off with a special edition: karaoke with a live band. Starting at 7 p.m., visitors can look forward to a unique sing-along concert where not only the voices but also the instruments will be performed live.
Karsten Stotco, the club’s founder, describes the idea this way: “You choose the song. The band plays it. You sing it.” This creates a very special atmosphere: “With a live band backing you up, karaoke turns into a sing-along concert. No one stands alone. The person at the mic starts, and everyone joins in.”
Karsten’s Karaoke Club has been performing at various venues in Schwerin for several years. On July 25, the Kulturforum will host the largest event in the series to date—and the first to feature a live band. Another special feature: Children and teens up to age 18 get free admission. Tickets are available for 10 euros plus a booking fee. Tickets are available online via Reservix, as well as directly at the Kulturforum and the Tourist Information Office at Schweriner Markt.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Food and drinks will be provided. In case of rain, the event will be moved to the DER SPEICHER Sociocultural Center, Röntgenstraße 22.
