The enthusiasm of the Stralsund audience speaks for itself: For the fourth time,
the Jed Thomas Band (UK)
will perform
on Sunday, August 16, 2026, in the Gustav-Adolf-Saal of the
Kulturkirche in Stralsund. Following the acclaimed concerts of recent years,
the audience can once again look forward to an energetic evening full of joy, passion, and
first-class blues rock.
Frontman Jed Thomas from Leeds captivates audiences with his distinctive blues-rock style, which he has already brought to international stages
alongside Joe Bonamassa, Buddy Guy, and Nine Below Zero. Musically, the band moves between classic Delta blues,
powerful electric blues, and extended improvisations in the style of legendary ’70s rock concerts.
Influences from Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, and Rory Gallagher shape the
band’s unmistakable sound. Together with Paul Austwick on the Hammond organ,
Nibbsy Toase on bass, and Fiete Blümel on drums, Jed Thomas delivers intense live moments and a genuine concert atmosphere.
The band brings with them their latest releases as well as freshly remastered albums, which will be performed live
