The Pasternack Bigband meets the jazz voice of the NorthJacqueline Boulanger. Big band tradition à la Count Basie and Duke Ellington merges with a modern sound. Jazz classics from the 30s to the 70s meet fresh arrangements of songs from Adele to Amy Winehouse.
The band, once founded by saxophonist Günther Kaiser, has been shaping the music scene in the city by the sea for over 35 years. Under the direction of Andreas Pasternack , the band is always on top form.
The highlight of the evening is Boulanger's soulful, warm and powerful voice - touching and unforgettable. Pure joy of playing and big band entertainment. The evening ends with an after-show party in the Wintergarten.
