The history of mankind is characterized by wars and military conflicts. Due to different religions, political claims to power or economic interests, conflicts have arisen time and again, often leading to war.
After the devastating world wars of the 20th century, we are now experiencing a renewed increase in armaments all over the world, but also in Europe, due to the threat of war.
With a small program of protest songs and anti-war songs from the time of the Peasants' War, the time of the soldier kings and the world wars up to the present, we want to remind you not to forget the consequences and wounds of the many wars!
In addition to many traditional songs from the folk scene, there will also be songs by Hannes Wader, Reinhard Mey, Pete Seeger, Wishful thinking, Emerson Lake and Palmer and the Beatles!
This is not an event for political propaganda, but an evening to reflect and think about today's world.
