Wreath-laying ceremony at the Mönkebude church and soldiers' grave with our sponsor unit to mark 80 years since the end of the Second World War
On Sunday, November 16, 2025, we will celebrate the Volkstrauertag together - a day of silent remembrance and commemoration.
We cordially invite you to take part in the commemoration ceremony at 2.30 pm at the memorial near the church and at 3.00 pm at the soldiers' grave in Mönkebude.
On this day, we commemorate the victims of war, violence and terror - the fallen of both world wars, the civilian victims and all those who still suffer from the consequences of war and displacement today.
Together we want to set an example for peace, reconciliation and humanity.
