Excitement in the enchanted forest: Baba Yaga the witch's beloved henhouse has disappeared! The old witch Boneleg is very unhappy, but also has a guilty conscience: She has wrongly scolded her henhouse. Where has it gone? And what does the evil Koshchey have to do with it? And can Vasilisa the Wise help?
Once upon a time - that's not just how many fairy tales begin. These words also open a door: to dark forests and bright glades, to brave children, strange creatures and unexpected friendships. Fairy tales tell of fear and curiosity, of trials and victory over the seemingly insurmountable. Above all, however, they tell of how the unknown is not always dangerous - but sometimes just waiting to be understood.
