POLITICAL KOSHER - CAN YOU STILL SAY THAT? Stand-up comedy with BUBALES - Jewish puppet theater from Berlin
BUBALES is a Jewish puppet theater from Berlin, directed by Shlomit Tripp. In her stand-up comedy program "Politically Kosher", narrated with hand puppets, she takes the audience on a journey through Germany: with Jewish humour and a lot of self-irony, she meets an anti-Semitic cab driver, makes friends with the "Brust-grabsch-Ali" in the subway or stands up to a misogynistic racial theorist.
Is it even allowed to say such things?" We've all heard questions like this before. "How to recognize the line between politically kosher and filth is best explained with hand puppets!" says Shlomit Tripp, founder of Bubales. In her quirky anti-discrimination course, the Berliner takes us on a special kind of journey. With Jewish humor and a great deal of self-irony, Shlomit Tripp explains to us how to confront contemporary naggers and how to become a nag ourselves. Come and see! Come and cry! Laugh!
