On International Museum Day, the Bergen Town Museum on Rügen opens its doors to a curious public from 10 am to 3 pm! The permanent exhibition "From the Stone Age to the City" with its high-quality copies of the "Blue Tooth Treasure" and a medieval linen cloth and its pictorial depictions made of silk and linen invite you to take an interesting walk through the history of Bergen and the Island of Rügen.

At 11 a.m., Bergen artist Katrin Nülken invites you to an informal guided tour through her photo exhibition "Nature is painting - made of stone". She will share her fascination for stones and open up new perspectives on their hidden beauty.

The focus is not on the stone as a whole, but on its structures and colors, which appear in the respective photographs like independent paintings.

Join the conversation and discover nature's works of art up close!
