Comedy by Samantha Ellis / German by Silke Pfeiffer
Kate likes guys who get stuck in. Steve is overprotective. Nevertheless, there is a spark when the two meet at a masquerade costume party. After 18 months, they decide to get married. Now things get complicated, because Steve's mother is a staunch feminist who raised her son in a camp with other single mothers, and Kate's father is a conservative Jew from the middle-class camp. While their parents become unexpectedly close despite their differences, Steve and Kate almost fall out completely on the day of their wedding,
before they get their act together at the very last moment.
A fast-paced comedy for two players who jump from one generation to the next in a matter of seconds, taking aim at the contradictions of modern femininity as well as the question of whether a man can really be a feminist.
